The Telepathic icon on a laptop

Client: Telepathic Technologies

Brand, website, and investor materials for a neurotech startup

Contributions: Business analysis, messaging, brand identity, logo, brand guidelines, icon set, copywriting, web design and development in WordPress, investor deck, white paper, and business cards.

Scope

Telepathic Technologies builds noninvasive brain computer interfaces. Noah Shamus and Ellery Buntel founded it at Entrepreneurs First in 2024.

In August 2024 the team had a holding page, no brand, and dense brain imaging science to explain to investors. It needed an identity, a credible website, and investor documents.

The logo animation: the icon comes together, then the name appears.

Challenge

The name is long and the technology is hard to picture, so early logo ideas left people unsure what the company does. A compact icon beside the long wordmark gave the name balance and focus.

The target markets shifted during the project, and the company had no domain until November, so the site had to stay flexible right up to launch.

Process

  • Started with a business analysis, messaging for three audiences, and a mood board.
  • Ran four logo rounds and settled the logo and typeface on 5 September 2024.
  • Delivered the brand presentation, logo files, and 55 pages of guidelines with an icon set.
  • Wrote the copy, wireframed the site, and built it in WordPress with a waitlist, a blog, and SEO basics.
  • Designed the investor deck and a white paper in October 2024.
  • Moved the site to the new domain and launched telepathic.tech on 13 November 2024.

Results

The brand was in place before the website build began, and telepathic.tech launched on 13 November 2024 with a waitlist and a blog.

The team came back in January 2025 to bring its investor documents into the brand. Noah later asked us to design his personal website, and has recommended Atravela to another founder.
