Client: Mana Eco Retreat
Digital strategy for a yoga retreat
Contributions: Digital strategy, media, brand development, design, content creation, web design & development, SEO, communication and marketing.
Scope
Mana Eco Retreat opened in 2017 and has grown steadily since then. The company needed a digital strategy that could adapt to its growing brand. A website was key. It was to become the centrepiece of all marketing activities for Mana. There were three main objectives: to increase the number of rooms and retreats sold through the website in order to reduce commissions, to increase the average daily rate and to increase the occupancy rate.
These posters created for Mana can easily be shared online and on the back of flyers.
The brand guidelines outline everything from colours, values, tone of voice, slogan and textures.
Challenge
Develop a strategy that can be adapted over time. Integrate a booking system that works seamlessly with the Indonesian rupiah. Attract guests to a remote location that had a poor reputation. Increase brand awareness online and offline. Keeping the brand’s core values in mind when developing all assets.
Process
- Create a bespoke marketing programme based on the assets created for Atravela.
- Create a website that inspires confidence and is very easy to navigate.
- Integrate the website with a booking system that can accept payments from any location.
- Develop an email marketing strategy that integrates with all channels and is a cheap and easy communication channel.
- Create a digital strategy that allows you to sell retreats that require a significant investment of time, money and effort.
- Place ads that convert searchers into bookers.

Results
The website averages more than 3000 sessions and 11,000 page views per month. The automated marketing campaigns have high engagement and are growing steadily. Social media has constant growth and is well connected. Bookings through the website are high (up to 20%). Most retreats are booked directly, which significantly reduces commissions for Mana. The brand is well positioned in Indonesia and has become synonymous with quality yoga and a simple lifestyle.
